The 3rd Meeting of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the National Seed Development & Regulatory Authority (NSDRA), under the chairmanship of Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for the Ministry of National Food Security and Research, held today on 11th June 2025, at MNFSR. The meeting outcomes are as follows: * The minister has rejected the reinstation proposal of fake seed companies. * Approval of hiring four members for NSDRA has been finalised. * Approval of the service structure of Member, DG, Director, Deputy Director and Assistant Director finalised. * Approval of operationalization of new appointments in NSDRA. * Approval of methodology for research and development in new varieties of cotton and oil-seed finalised. *Approval of the introduction of the best quality seed along with approval of other measures.
