Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain Chairs Key Meeting on PASSCO and Wheat Issues

Federal Minister for National Food Security & Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, chaired an important meeting today in Islamabad to discuss key matters related to PASSCO (Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation) and wheat stocks.

The meeting was attended by Federal Secretary Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry along with other senior officials from the ministry and relevant departments. Discussions revolved around the winding-up process of PASSCO, its current wheat stocks, and budgetary matters.

During the session, future strategies for PASSCO were also deliberated upon, focusing on improving efficiency and ensuring food security in the country. The minister emphasized the need for a well-structured approach to managing wheat reserves and the current financial matters of PASSCO for sustainable operations.
